Welcome!
My name
is Agnieszka Janaszek and I have the pleasure to be the Principal of ‘Mali
Odkrywcy/Little Discoverers' Bilingual Kindergarten.
I belong
to those lucky people whose work is a constant source of their pleasure and
happiness, and as a Chinese proverb says ‘if one loves their work, they don't
work even one day in their life'. The years I have spent working in
kindergarten taught me how big joy, pleasure and satisfaction can be derived
from being in contact with children.
I am a
university graduate of Akademia Podlaska in the field of
Pedagogy (a 5-year-masters degree program with the additional
specialization in culture related education) and The Maria Grzegorzewska Academy of Special
Education, Warsaw in Speech Articulation Therapy (a 2-year-program). I am also educated
in early mathematics and in ‘glottodidactics', which is an original Polish
method of teaching reading and writing. I strongly believe that these two
methods of working with children bear great results in the subsequent school
achievement.
I am also
a graduate of the Warsaw University Course in Education Politics and Management
(a 2-year-program), and Kardynał Wyszyński University Studies in Kindergarten
Pedagogy with the focus on the Early Diagnosis of Problems in Child Development
(a 2-year-program).
In my
private life, I am Mother to Wiktoria, who was our happy kindergartener in the
first ‘Promyczki/Sun rays' group, and now is a second grade student in primary
school.
